BARSTOW, Calif. (AP) - Authorities say nobody was hurt when a small plane was forced to land on a desert road in San Bernardino County after its engine failed.
Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor says the single-engine Grumman AG5B Tiger was not damaged in the landing Sunday morning near Barstow.
A San Bernardino County Fire Department dispatcher says no injuries were reported.
There was no word on how many persons were aboard the plane or details of the flight.
FAA online records show the aircraft is co-owned by Irwindale-based American Capacitor Corporation.
