Plea deal in Anthony Ibarra murder case

One of the ten people awaiting trial in the murder of Santa Maria resident Anthony Ibarra has accepted a plea deal. Pedro Torres, Jr., 54, pleaded guilty to being an accessory after the murder. He is expected to be sentenced to three years in prison in February. The remaining nine defendants have pleaded not guilty. Ibarra's body was found in a U-Haul truck in March.
