San Luis Obispo Police say a Los Osos man is facing felony hit-and-run charges for hitting a cyclist Friday evening.

It happened around 5:55 P.M. at the intersection of Broad street and Branch Street in San Luis Obispo.

Witnesses provided a license plate of the incident to investigators which law enforcement officials used to pull over and later arrest 24 year-old Brandon Herebia on top of the grade.

He is facing felony hit-and-run charges.

Police say the witness sustained major injuries to his or her lower leg and was in operation Friday Night.
