Santa Maria police arrested a man they say shot at another man but missed Monday afternoon.

Police say Raheem Coleman, 19, confronted the man in the 1900 block of McClelland Street and flashed gang signs before the shooting. Investigators say Coleman also referenced the alleged victim testifying against Coleman's bother in a past court case.

Investigators arrested Coleman in the 200 block of East Inger after they found his vehicle there.

Coleman was booked into the main Santa Barbara County Jail on suspicion of attempted murder and a criminal street gang enhancement. Bail was set at $500,000.
