Police, fire officials to hold active-shooter drill at SLO High

The police and fire departments will be at San Luis Obispo High School on Wednesday to practice what to do if a gunman ever gets on campus. It's called an active-shooter drill.

The drill is designed to prepare teachers and staff as well as law enforcement officers.

Officers will use simulated explosives and gunfire, and the fire alarm will run for 15 minutes.
