Police make arrest in Grover Beach Robbery

Police: Mace used in Grover Beach robbery

Police arrested an Arroyo Grande man suspected of robbing a Grover Beach market while armed with mace.

Grover Beach Police say Garett Davis forced the clerks at the Pocket Book Market to the back of the store while he took $181 from the cash register Wednesday morning.

Police say Davis didn't get far. They arrested him after a short chase.

Davis was booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail on suspicion of robbery, kidnapping, and resisting arrest.
