Police are adding extra DUI checkpoints across the Central Coast during the holiday season.
In Santa Maria, two people were arrested for driving under the influence last night at a checkpoint in the 500 block of East Main Street.
Two others were cited for driving without a license.
In San Luis Obispo County, 29 people were arrested over a seven day period from December 13 through December 19.
Eight law enforcement agencies throughout the county made the arrests.
The winter holiday anti-DUI crackdown will continue this weekend with a checkpoint in Arroyo Grande, along with extra patrols in San Luis Obispo and Atascadero.
