Police: Man arrested for having lewd acts with a child

A man was arrested early Saturday morning in Santa Maria after police say he was having lewd acts with a child.
Santa Maria Police say around 12:15 a.m., they were notified of a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot in the 400 block of West Park.
When they arrived, police say they found Ricardo Javier Rivera Flores, 19, in the vehicle with a 12-year-old victim.
They say the two had been having intercourse.
Police also say Flores originally gave them a false name and date of birth.
He was booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail for violation of Lewd Acts with a Child Under the Age of 14.
