The Lompoc Police Department's Gang and Narcotics Enforcement Team and members of the Santa Barbara Regional Narcotics Enforcement Team arrested three people Sunday after a four-month investigation.
They served a search warrant at a motel in the 1700 block of Broadway in the City of Santa Maria. Police arrested 55-year-old Ana Mendoza from Bakersfield. They say she was in possession of 12 ounces of methamphetamine while with her child.
Police also arrested 69-year-old Pedro Rodriguez from Lompoc and 32-year-old Tiffany Caro from Lompoc. According to reports, Rodriguez was in possession of two ounces of meth and a loaded snub nose .357 revolver. Detectives later found two additional ounces of meth and over $2,000 in cash.
Police say in total, they seized over one pound of meth, which has a street value of about $45,000.
