Power outage in Arroyo Grande caused by car crashing into pole

PG&E is working to restore power to people in Arroyo Grande.

Power went out around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday after a car hit a pole.

PG&E spokesperson Blair Jones says 730 customers were without power initially. They've restored power to all but 60 customers.

Workers won't be able to restore power to those customers until they've completed repairs and replaced the pole that was damaged in the accident.

Jones says they don't have an exact estimate for how long that will take.
