Power outage update:PG&E says cause was possible equipment failure

PG&E spokesperson says cause of transmission level outage Sunday night was due to possible equipment failure.

145,000 customers remain without power on the Central Coast at 11:30 p.m. No word on when power is expected to be restored.

Lompoc police department reports one case of a smashed window at a local restaurant, Tom's Burgers.

Lompoc Fire Chief Kurt Latipow says his crews have been going to local senior citizen facilities to make sure their generators are working properly. They are also making sure oxygen tanks are working.
