Power is restored for thousands of customers in San Luis Obispo Monday morning.
The power was fully restored to about 5,600 customers around 10:45 Sunday night.
It went out around 4:30 Sunday afternoon, and impacted people in Arroyo Grande, Grover Beach, Pismo Beach, Templeton, and Atascadero. The Walmart and Trader Joe's in Arroyo Grande were temporarily closed because of the outage.
PG&E is still investigating the cause of the outage, but Five Cities Fire says a power line running across the 800 block of South Halcyon Road in Arroyo Grande was down. They don't know why it went down in the first place.
