The Pozo Fire has burned 1,263 acres and stands at 5% containment Sunday morning.
According to InciWeb.org: The Pozo Fire began Saturday at 12:34 pm. Due to deer season currently in progress, campgrounds had to be evacuated. Control problems arose from frequent spotting of the fire, which resulted in a rapid rate of spread into the brush. Aggressive fire suppression tactics today will include direct fireline construction.
