Court proceedings for former Arroyo Grande City Councilman Ed Arnold have been postponed for a week, according to the district attorney's office.
A preliminary hearing was scheduled for this morning, however, Arnold's lawyers requested proceedings be pushed back until September 14.
Arnold has pled not guilty to assault and child pornography charges. Investigators say he secretly videotaped a teenage girl in the shower.
Arnold also faces five felony assault charges stemming from an alleged domestic abuse incident that happened in December.
