Preliminary hearing set for man accused of having sex with local teen

The man accused of traveling from Michigan to San Luis Obispo to see a local teenager he met online pleaded not guilty Monday to charges of having sex with a minor. Bradford Mitchell, 52-years-old, entered his plea in court Monday morning. He's charged with having sex and oral copulation with a minor.

He was arrested last Wednesday after police say they found him with a 16-year-old San Luis Obispo girl in Pismo Beach. Investigators say they had been staying together in a hotel. A preliminary hearing has been set for December 28th.
