Preparing for the upcoming storm: Sandbag information

Local authorities want you to know where to grab sandbags in case you need to prepare your home for the upcoming rainy weather.

In all of these cases, you need to bring your own bags to fill with sand provided by local emergency services departments. They can be bought at most hardware or farm supply stores.

Paso Robles:
Streets Yard, 1220 Paso Robles St. (bring your own shovel)

San Luis Obispo:
Corporation Yard, 25 Prado Rd.
Laguna Lake Golf Course
Santa Rosa Park
Sinsheimer Park parking lot

Santa Maria:
City Public Works Yard, 830 W. Cypress (open 8:00a.m. - 4:00p.m. Monday - Friday)
SB Co. Flood Control Yard, 912 W. Foster Rd.
Suey Crossing, near the Santa Maria River

Goleta:
SB Co. Fire Station #14, 320 N. Los Carneros
SB Maintenance Yard, 4568 Calle Real

Santa Barbara:
Corporate Annex Yard, 401 E. Yanonali St. (sand and sandbags available)

Montecito:
Fire Station #1, 595 San Ysidro Rd.
