Pridham earns top Big West honor

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - Cal Poly senior forward Mackenzie Pridham has been named the Big West's Offensive Player of the Year.

Pridham, who became the Mustangs all-time leader in career goals earlier this year, led the conference with 14 strikes.

It's the second consecutive year the senior has earned the honor. Pridham, along with teammates Matt LaGrassa and Connor Drechsler, were named to the Big West's All-Conference team as well. The three representatives on the first team was tied for second most in the conference. UC Santa Barbara also had three players named to the first team.

Cal Poly takes on Cal St. Northridge as the Big West Conference Tournament begins on Tuesday. The winner will take on the regular season conference champion UC Santa Barbara on Friday.
