Public meeting to discuss proposed La Plaza Cinema Project

The city of Atascadero will hold a special public meeting Thursday night to discuss plans for a new theater.
The proposed La Plaza Cinema Project would be built on El Camino Real in the historic downtown colony district. It's the second theater complex proposed for the city. The Colony Square Theater Project is already under construction on the south end of the downtown district. The ten-screen complex is expected to be completed later this year.
Thursday night's meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. at the city hall chambers in Atascadero.
