Public memorial service held for Paul Teixeira

The public gathered for a memorial services honoring life-time Central Coast leader, Paul Teixeira, Wednesday. Hundreds of people gathered in the Madonna Inn Expo Center to honor the man who most recently served as the San Luis Obispo County 4th District Supervisor. County Supervisor Adam Hill shared some of his thoughts about the man he says everyone liked. He described Teixeira as selfless. Hill told KSBY, "I don't know anybody that didn't like Paul. It didn't matter if you were Democrat or Republican; Paul was just a likable human being." Hill said Teixeira was always willing to help out, and brought a lot of cheer into people's lives. Teixeira died last week from a heart attack.
