Quick containment expected for SoCal wildfire

LAKE ELSINORE, Calif. (AP) - Firefighters say they expect to contain a 125-acre wildfire in Riverside County by Friday evening.

Alma Ruiz of the U.S. Forest Service says the blaze in the
Ortega Mountains is 50 percent contained, winds are light and no homes are threatened.

The fire, which didn't grow overnight, is expected to be fully surrounded by 6 p.m.

The fire erupted in the Cleveland National Forest west of Lake Elsinore on Thursday and briefly forced the evacuation of a Girl Scout camp.

About 150 firefighters are on the line near the Ortega Highway. There are no reports of damage or injuries.
