A radio show called "Living the Run," dedicated to fighting obesity on the Central Coast, debuts tonight on local airwaves.
KSBY's Friday Night Highlight's own Ryan Foran will co-host alongside Former Olympian Paul Terek.
The weekly show will have expert guests from nutritionists to trainers, talking about health and fitness, specifically targeting the obesity epidemic.
" Nearly 60 percent of adults are either overweight or obese more than 30 percent of 5th, 7th and 9th graders in this county are either overweight or obese, that is not pretty, we're hoping to do something to help that out," said Foran, which he said is according to the Healthy Eating, Active Living San Luis Obispo, or HEAL-SLO, Coalition.
Living the Run has partnered with HEAL-SLO and the American Cancer Society for the show that airs Wednesday nights at 6 on ESPN 1280 am.
It will also stream live on line.
