Partly cloudy skies are in the forecast for Thursday, so it will be quite different from the blue skies we had today.
A cold front is heading down the coast from Alaska and should arrive late Thursday night. This system is expected to bring showers and cold temperatures to San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties. Rainfall amounts should be small only about a tenth of an inch. The rain should taper off Friday night with dry conditions returning Saturday and Sunday.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather warning for Santa Barbara county because there is a chance snow levels could fall as low as 2,500 feet between Friday afternoon and Friday evening
Santa Lucia winds are expected to arrive this weekend. With the winds there should be a slow warming trend through next week.
Have a great week!
