All the rain this week has formed a lake at a local park in Santa Maria.
It's kind of supposed to be that way. Jim May Park acts as a basin to collect the rain, but this is pretty dramatic.
The ducks have even set up camp there temporarily. It's a lot of water, but neighbors say they weren't too concerned about the high water levels.
"A few years ago it got a little bit higher actually, but we don't panic about it though because I remember looking back. I've lived here my whole life. It goes on the freeway before it gets in to the houses," said Jeffrey Armstrong of Santa Maria.
In the past, residents say kids have even taken rafts out on the water.
