A few light showers over SLO county this evening have failed to produce anything measurable yet and more of this kind of on and off, unimpressive showers are likely through Wednesday afternoon.
Best chance of rain is in SLO county and it is unlikely that anything will happen in southern SB county.
Thursday and the extended forecast look dry.
The larger story is likely the higher winds that will result with the frontal passage Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. Wednesday's afternoon winds will likely reach 25mph, and Thursday 35mph.
In fact, wind advisories for the SB County mountains and Southcoast are in place and a Gale Watch has also been posted.
After that temps push back to above normal for the weekend as 70s return for most, and interior temps to the upper 70s by the end of the 6 day.
The next chance for rain March 28th.
