The Rattlers baseball team is quickly showing it is a force to be reckoned with this summer in San Luis Obispo. Sunday, the Rattlers won their fifth-straight game and completed a three-game sweep of the East Los Angeles Dodgers 4-0 at Sinsheimer Stadium.
The Rattlers struck for two runs in the bottom of the first inning to take the lead for good.
Left-hander Josh Wise made the runs county. The El Paso, Texas native threw seven shutout innings. He scattered two hits and struck out four to pick up the victory for the Rattlers.
Marc Flores, the Rattlers' first baseman who is headed to the University of Hawaii, went 3 for 4 at the plate with a double and two runs scored. Trevor Nathanson added two RBI singles to provide the second and third runs of the game.
The 7-2 Rattlers close out their four-game homestand with a 12pm game on Monday against the Fresno Cardinals.
