The 70th Annual Santa Maria Elks Rodeo is over, and organizers are already thinking about next year.
The four-day event wrapped up on Sunday with a rodeo dance and a final rodeo performance.
Organizers say sales were up this year.
They are planning on adding more stands next year.
"We had so many new families that came out for the first time and never been to the rodeo and discovered how much family fun a rodeo is," said rodeo spokesperson Johnna Clark.
This year's crowd included more than 25,000 people.
It broke last year's attendance record.
