Highs in the 70s and 80s are expected most of the week near the coast as high pressure and offshore winds dominate the weather.
Fire danger will be high as relative humidities will be very low during this period combined with dangerous fuel conditions due to several years of inadequate rainfall.
Morning winds through Thursday could be as strong as 15-25mph offshore, weakening in the afternoons.
The long range forecast is not optimistic for rain as dry weather looks to continue through the 25th with models still suggesting a pattern change at the very latest portion of the month or into early Feb, however models have included this possibility for weeks and just keeps backing the potential for rain off.
