The Foresters and Blues resume their summer rivalry Tuesday night at UCSB in a battle for first place in the California Collegiate League. It marks the first meeting of the season between the two rivals.
Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo were co-league champions last year. The Foresters, who won their 17th league crown in the last 18 years, went on to capture their third NBC World Series title. It marked the first piece of a league title for the Blues since they joined the CCL.
Both teams enter the three game series red hot. The Foresters enter the three-game series 5-1 in CCL play and 10-5 overall. They've won seven-straight games. The Blues are 6-2 in league and 11-4 overall and winners of eight in a row.
First pitch of all three games at Casear Uyseka Stadium on the UCSB campus is at 5pm.
