The Santa Maria Reds scored a run with two outs in the eighth inning and two more with two outs in the ninth to beat the North County Indians, 3-1.
The Indians scored a run in the bottom of the second inning to take a 1-0 lead at the game in Templeton. The Reds tied the game on the Indians sixth error of the game in the eighth and then Joseph Guerrero drove a two-run double to right center in the ninth.
The loss ends the Indians seven game winning streak and drops them to 8-6.
The Reds have become the new Indians in Santa Maria after the Indians moved to Templeton last year. The Reds now play their home game at Elks Field after the stadium was built for the Indians 60 years ago.
