Rescue crews were able to get to the man who fell off a cliff in Shell Beach quickly this afternooon. He fell near some stairs, so crews were able to get down to him, secure him in a stretcher and bring him back up. Witnesses tell KSBY he was moving his arms and didn't seem too badly injured.

The man fell about 3:15 this afternoon near a popular park along Ocean Boulevard near the intersection of Cuyama streets where people have been enjoying the sunshine today. Cal Fire says he fell about 15 feet to the beach below, but witnesses say it was more like 25-30 feet.

It was just last Friday a man fell in the same area while playing with his cat.
