British researchers say they've developed a formula that can predict a child's risk of obesity just after they're born.
The formula includes the body mass index of both the mother and father, the mother's professional status, whether she smoked during pregnancy, and how much the baby weighed at birth.
Experts say it could give doctors a chance to intervene in at-risk families early, teaching parents about good nutritional habits.
