A small earthquake shook parts of Santa Barbara County.

The USGS says a magnitude 3.7 earthquake hit just before 3 o'clock Tuesday morning.

It was centered about five miles northeast of Lompoc.

More than 400 people have reported they felt the quake on the USGS website.

Lompoc residents we spoke with say they didn't feel much.

Frank Lopez, Lompoc resident, said, "My bird got really upset, we have a parrot. Other than that, it was pretty mild."

No injuries or damages reported from that quake.
