The holidays are right around the corner, and people in San Luis Obispo are getting into the festive spirit.

The Apple Farm in San Luis Obispo held a Traditional Holiday Open House on Saturday, which organizers call their launch into the holiday season.

The 11th annual event had everything from live Christmas music, complimentary horse-drawn carriage rides, gingerbread cookie decorating, ornament making, wine and beer tasting, and Santa Claus even made an appearance.

Ten percent of Saturday's restaurant proceeds will go to the SLO Noor Foundation, which provides medical services to people without insurance.
