Ride through the vines in Templeton this weekend

What a great way to get some exercise. This weekend the Templeton Wine and Roses Bike Ride returns for it's 12th year.

This Saturday, Oct. 5th, 2013 you are invited to come take a cruise and enjoy the beautiful scenery and terrain.

Three rides are available to meet your cycling ability and fitness level: The classic 30-Mile Ride, the 62-Mile Metric Century and 100-Mile Century Ride.

The ride is limited to 350 participants and can ell out so if your are interested book it asap.

When the rides are finished, you can celebrate with a BBQ and enjoy wines from Wild Horse Winery in the beautiful Templeton downtown park.

Registration is $65 per rider. Tandem cyclists must register individually. Day of Registration sign ups are $75 per rider, and may not be available if ride is sold out.

Due to the popularity of this ride, the rider limit has been increased to the first 350 riders who register on-line. No mail in registrations will be accepted. Registration fee includes a rider gift, rest stop refreshments, BBQ lunch, souvenir wine glass, Wild Horse Winery wine, and a rose for the ladies.

Riders will be given an identification wristband at check-in. Wristbands will be checked at all rest stops, and required for the BBQ lunch and wine. Extra meals are only $15.00.

A Bike Bash Dinner to kick off the Ride is Friday October 4th at 5:30 p.m. at Wild Horse Winery
