Righetti clubs 4 home runs, 8 doubles in 21-0 rout over St. Joseph

The Warriors clubbed four home runs and collected 26 hits in a 21-0 thumping of rival St. Joseph softball on Tuesday in a Pac 7 League game.

Righetti, which is ranked 6th this week in Division 3, improved to 11-4 overall and 3-0 in league. The Knights dropped to 0-2 in league and 2-4 for the season.

Stevie Wisz led the Warriors with 4 hits in 6 at-bats. She collected a double, home run and 5 RBI. Judith Salazar went 3 for 3 with a double, home run and 3 RBI. Katie Chenault and Siera Betts also clubbed home runs.

Chenault and freshman Katie Barbarick combined on a 1-hit shutout with 13 strikeouts. Chenault went the first five innings and did not allow a hit.

Righetti hitters did not strike out once in the game.
