The Righetti boys soccer team moved into a first place tie with Arroyo Grande by beating the Eagles, 4-2 on Friday. The Warriors win on the road means both teams are now 7-1 in the Pac-7.

Righetti scored three first half goals. The first was in the 31st minute, a Mario Ramos corner kick was headed in by Gustav Jarpehag. Two minutes later Emmanuel Zarate got loose and put another one away. Jorge Guzman capped the first half scoring for Righetti with his team best 12th goal of the season late in the first half.

Oscar Munoz scored twice for Arroyo Grande in the second half but it was not enough.

Arroyo Grande will play at third place Pioneer Valley on Wednesday. Righetti will host last place St. Joseph on Wednesday. Both teams have four League games left.
