Righetti soccer wins outright league title behind Guzman's hat trick

Jorge Guzman scored three goals within a twelve minute period in the second half to deliver the Pac 7 League outright title for the Righetti High boys soccer team. The Warriors overcame a 2-1 deficit to beat San Luis Obispo 4-2 in the league finale Friday night.

The Warriors improved to 10-2 in league to leapfrog over 9-2-1 Arroyo Grande and Pioneer Valley.

The Tigers struck first midway through the first half on a goal from Peter Delkeskamp struck from outside the box. The Warriors tied it a few minutes later when Edwin Franco buried it in the open net after the rebound.

Guzman scored a few minutes later to make it 3-2 and added a third goal in stoppage time to complete the hat trick.
