San Luis Obispo residents will notice a few changes on city roadways.
The city has finished road construction at the Orcutt and Laurel Lane intersection, according to the San Luis Obispo Public Works Department. Construction in the area began in 2007 and was funded by a Hazard Elimination Safety Grant.
Changes to the area include:
- Sacramento Drive extension from Industrial Way to Orcutt Road
- A new traffic signal installation at Orcutt and Laurel Lane
- State-of-the-art bicycle signal installation at Orcutt and Laurel Lane
- Railroad crossing lanes addition from two to four
