Despite all the rain this weekend,the 68th annual Santa Maria Elks Rodeo was more successful than last year. Rodeo organizers say the four-day rodeo grossed twenty-eight percent more money in sales than in 2010. 19,760 tickets were sold this year.
Rodeo organizers are already looking toward next year.They plan to put up web cameras so people can out the weather before they come to th rodeo.
