Rough seas expected most of the week

A gale watch is already in place for expected high winds Tuesday but a quick look at winds the rest of the week indicate either gale conditions or small craft advisory conditions are possible most days this week.

Tuesday: N winds 5 to 15 kt...becoming NW 10 to 20 kt with local gusts to 25 kt in the afternoon. Wind waves 1 to 3 ft. W swell 7 to 9 ft at 19 seconds. Showers. Slight chance of tstms in the afternoon.

Tuesday Night: NW winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts to 35 kt. Combined seas 10 to 13 ft dominant period 18 seconds. Slight chance of tstms in the evening. Showers likely.

Wednesday: NW winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts to 35 kt. Combined seas 12 to 14 ft dominant period 18 seconds...subsiding to 10 to 13 ft dominant period 18 seconds in the afternoon. Slight chance of showers in the morning.

Wednesday Night: NW winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts to 35 kt...becoming 15 to 25 kt with gusts to 30 kt by midnight. Combined seas 10 to 13 ft.

Thursday: NW winds 10 to 20 kt with gusts to 25 kt. Wind waves 2 to 4 ft. NW swell 7 to 9 ft. Slight chance of showers.

Friday: NW winds 10 to 20 kt with gusts to 25 kt. Wind waves 2 to 4 ft. NW swell 7 to 10 ft. Slight chance of showers.
