Harvard Researchers have linked excess salt consumption to more than two million deaths worldwide in 2010.
The doctors analyzed more than 200 studies looking at the sodium intake of adults of its effects on blood pressure of cardiovascular disease.
Nearly one million of the deaths were linked to high sodium diets were in people under the age of 70. 42% were caused by heart attacks and 41% by stroke.
