CAMPO, Calif. (AP) - Fire officials say a wildfire that forced the evacuation of 150 homes in eastern San Diego County is now 30 percent contained.
Still, authorities with California's Department of Forestry and Fire Protection say more than 200 structures remain threatened by the now-820-acre blaze that broke out shortly after 2 p.m. Sunday.
Fire officials expect the so-called Old Fire to be fully contained Tuesday night.
Officials say the wildfire has destroyed one residence and one other structure.
Nearly 500 firefighterss have been dispatched to the blaze in a rural area east of Campo.
