San Luis Obispo bicycle auction gives back to kids in need

The San Luis Obispo Sheriff's Department is giving back to underprivileged kids throughout our community.
The Sheriff's Department held it's first live bicycle auction Saturday in San Luis Obispo.
Bikes were donated by members of the community, service organizations, and private businesses to the Men's Honor Farm, where the bikes are fixed up by inmates.
The money raised will buy bicycle helmets for kids who are involved with the Christmas Bicycle Giveaway Program.
