A local high-tech company is planning to double its staff from 400 to 800 employees and the city of SLO is trying to help make that happen.
San Luis Obispo based mind-body wants to expand its current facility in the 600 block of Tank Farm Road and add a four story parking structure.
Monday, the city's architectural review commission met to consider the project.
It's part of a pilot program aiming to expedite the building process.
"I just want everyone to know that we really care about the quality of life in San Luis Obispo. We do everything possible to minimize our footprint in the community in terms of cars on the road," said Mind Body CEO Rick Stollmeyer.
The ARCE is expected to offer final approval for the plans May 20th.
