SLO County offers swine flu vaccine to general public

Today and tomorrow, the San Luis Obispo County Health Department is offering the swine flu vaccine to anyone who wants it and no appointment is necessary. The county's previous clinics had been by appointment only and the vaccine was reserved for people in certain high risk groups. The county now says it has enough vaccine to make it available to everyone.

The clinics are being held Tuesday, December 15th and Wednesday, December 16th from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 P.M at the following locations:

  • Grover Beach Public Health Department at 286 S. 16th St.
  • San Luis Obispo Public Health Department at 2191 Johnson Ave.
  • Paso Robles Public Health Department at 723 Walnut Dr.
