The San Luis Obispo Downtown Association executive director has announced her retirement.
Deborah Cash plans to retire from her position as of Dec. 31, 2013.
She has been executive director of the association since 1995.
Some of her accomplishments include receiving the Great American Main Street Award in 1999, establishing Concerts in the Plaza, and developing several promotional campaigns that took place during public works construction projects to alleviate impacts on downtown businesses.
Cash says she is looking forward to spending more time with her family, friends, and pets, as well as pursuing her writing, photography, and expanding her home-based enterprises.
