San Luis Obispo family goes Christmas Crazy to help charity

A San Luis Obispo family has gone Christmas-crazy, with snow and all!

The 12th annual Calandro Christmas-crazy party was held Saturday. It's not just a good reason to have some holiday fun, it's a charity event as well. People bring canned food and gifts, and then all those goods are donated to Grass Roots II.

"This is a fantastic community," said John Calandro, party organizer. "We're always surprised by the generosity in this community, and this party really demonstrates it."

In addition to the snow, which was donated by Glacier Ice, Panasonic sent out a special 3-D movie truck for people to check out. The large truck apparently folds out to be a large, portable movie theater. The Calandro's say they won Panasonic's "Living in HD" contest last year, and were able to get the company to support their event this year.
