San Luis Obispo Police arrested a man for burglary after they say he tricked employees at two local banks.

Police say Carl Bellenir, a 48 year old transient, turned in rolled coins for cash at the Santa Barbara Bank and Trust on Tuesday.

The rolled coins had the the wrong denomination in them.

Police say Bellenir then did the same thing at the Bank of America branch downtown.

They say he turned in a roll of dimes that was actually filled with pennies. He was arrested a short time later.
