San Luis Obispo transient arrested for burglary

A 38-year-old man in San Luis Obispo is behind bars Wednesday after allegedly burglarizing a house.
The San Luis Obispo Police Department says Micah Edson was attempting to steal from a house when the homeowner tried to stop him. Police say Edson threatened the homeowner with a knife and took off on a bicycle. Officers found Edson hiding nearby in a pickup truck.
He was found to be in possession of stolen property, heroin, and methamphetamine.
