San Miguel man facing charges after Saturday hit and run

A man from San Miguel is facing several charges in connection with a hit and run on Saturday.

The California Highway Patrol says Beverly Wright, 50, of Atascadero, was standing outside of her vehicle along Highway 101 just north of Main Street in Templeton when she was hit by a car. The driver left the scene.

A short time later, Paso Robles Police arrested Juan Reynoso Arias, 48, of San Miguel. He faces charges of felony DUI, felony hit and run, and driving without a license.

The CHP says Wright is being treated for major injuries at Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno.
